A very bad day for Butcher2!  It's always an uphill match up between Butcher2 and his random focus every turn against Caine2 and his fixed and guaranteed kill range.  But it was a very good day to game, and equally good losses!  I played my ace game, regardless of the Tautauhan event that was happening and the more than usual number of players all over.

I'll look forward to matching up against these two players again with Butcher2!

Great Bears of Gallowswood failed to kill the Retribution warcaster on a charge, but managed to entrap him in a tight circle with the Behemoth.  Concerted efforts freed Garryth (Volkov failed his Tough roll against Garryth's Gallows), giving the elf the opportunity to drop the Supreme Kommandant with boosted Pistol shots.

Kommander Strakhov vs Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane

Before the dust has even settled, Louie de Guzman took on me and my Kommander Strakhov with his Major Markus "Siege" Brisbane.  Playing the same scenario, we took to the tables with 35PC forces.

Kommander Strakhov vs Adeptis Rahn

A game of many firsts! My first recorded match against Adeptis Rahn!  My first game using not only Kossite Woodsmen, but also my first game using Assault Kommandos!  This game also marked the first kill my Kossite Woodsmen ever made!

Kommander Strakhov vs Kommander Strakhov

Rainy day Friday became a small-scale mirror match between two Kommander Strakhovs.  My opponent  was one of the Schizo Khador boys, Huey Melo, who was riled enough to go two games against me that evening.  I brought a 35PC list but I toned down to 25PC to match his pointage. 

Hobbycraft - WIP Assault Kommandos

So yeah, either I use these for my Lost Hemisphere PTT submission, or I go via Valachev and Nyss Hunters.  But here's my WIP for Khador Assault Kommandos.

1. The usual prepwork - flash removal, miniature cleaning and basework.
2. Using some Black Tac and a strip of thick cardboard, I used this setup to hold the miniatures for priming.
3. I used a cloth rag to hold onto the cardboard while spraying the miniatures using Bosny Primer Red (very convenient for someone with a red army).
4. Once the primer was dry, I used Citadel Devlan Mud on each entire Assault Kommando. This should be the first cheat step since the wash will sink into the recesses, bringing out the details.

Once that dries up, I'll start painting the P3 Khador Red Base flat colors straight up onto the prepped surface of the minis.  I'll just pick out the details individually afterwards.
